Memorare,

O piissima Virgo Maria,

a saeculo non esse auditum, quemquam ad tua currentem praesidia,

tua implorantem auxilia, tua petentem suffragia,

esse derelictum.

Ego tali animatus confidentia,

ad te, Virgo Virginum, Mater, curro,

ad te venio, coram te gemens peccator assisto.

Noli, Mater Verbi,

verba mea despicere;

sed audi propitia et exaudi.

Emlékezzél, ó legkegyesebb Szűz Mária, hogy sohasem lehetett hallani, hogy te bárkit is gyámoltalanul magára hagytál volna, aki pártfogásodat kérte és segítségért hozzád könyörgött. Ily bizalomtól lelkesítve sietek hozzád, ó szüzek Szűze, jóságos Anyám; hozzád fordulok és színed előtt állok sóhajtozva, én, szegény bűnös. Ne vesd meg igéimet, ó Anyja az örök Igének, hanem figyelj azokra és hallgass meg engem, a te Fiad, a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus által, aki az Atyával és a Szentlélekkel egyetemben él és uralkodik,

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
